Human Barbie Responds To Haters After Receiving Backlash From New Photoshoot
Valeria Lukyanova, also known as the ‘human barbie’, is responding to backlash over her newly revealed spring photo-shoot. The photos, which were posted to her Facebook page last week, shows Valeria and her very dramatized, Barbie-like features in skimpy shorts, a bustier bra and a more athletic physique.
The Ukrainian model, known for her doll like features, announced last year that she no longer liked her thin frame and decided instead that she wanted to build ‘muscle’ in order to emulate an Amazonian female warrior. In the newly released photos, she boasted six-pack abs which prompted critics to speculate that they were photo shopped. The 29 year old has always insisted that except for her breasts, her features are entirely natural.
After the backlash, Lukyanova posted her response on her Facebook page. According to US Magazine Valeria said, “It is a pity that most people choose the path of degradation… If they see a man who has succeeded with something better than they are, they are ready to literally tear [them down].” She then continued, “I am certainly still far from ideal, very far… But I strive for athleticism… So funny that girls and boys from sporting groups write such nasty things about my body… so much negativity.”
