Seinfeld Could Be Heading To Streaming Services Hulu, Amazon or Yahoo As Early As This Year

Seinfeld fans rejoice! It looks like you won’t have to settle watching reruns on TBS anymore. It has been reported that a deal to bring Seinfeld to a streaming service could be happening in the very near future.

Currently, Hulu, Amazon, and Yahoo are all very interested in purchasing the show’s rights, but the streaming powerhouse Netflix has decided to pass on the opportunity.

The rumored price for Seinfeld is said to be over $500,000 for every episode, roughly the same price that Netflix bought the TV show Friends for. At a estimated grand total that’s larger than $86 million, this purchase could prove to be a huge win for whatever company is willing to cough up the cash.

Keep your eyes and ears peeled because the deal is meant to come to a close within the next couple weeks. Does that mean we’ll be able to stream Seinfeld by the end of the year? Hopefully!
