The three members of Migos were raised in Gwinnett County, a primarily suburban county 30 minutes northeast of Lawrenceville, Georgia. Berkmar High School’s starting quarterback for the 2009 season, his senior year, was Berkmar High School. 

Quavo led Berkmar to their first season victory in Week 2 as they improved to 1-9 in 2009 thanks to 19-of-25 passing for 201 yards and three touchdowns. In 2009, Quavo broke the mark by completing 28 pass attempts in a single game.
