Robert Downey Jr. Gets Frustrated During Avengers Interview And Walks Out

Roberty Downey Jr. sat down with Channel 4 news presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy to promote the upcoming film The Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, what started out as a pleasant interview focusing on the upcoming movie quickly turned sour when Krishnan Guru-Murthy tried to pry into Downey’s personal life. Despite Downey’s obvious irritation, Krishnan continued to ask impertinent questions, going so far as to bring up Downey’s past incarceration, which occurred around 6-7 years ago, and some comments Downey provided to the media at the time.

Downey was patient for the most part. But it’s when Krishnan tries to bring up Downey’s past drug abuse and father, Downey asks, “Hey, aren’t we promoting a movie here?” as he looks offscreen at the camera crew. Krishnan, though, kept pressing, and eventually Downey gets so frustrated he simply gets up and leaves.
