Widowed Dad Honors Late Wife By Recreating Pictures With Their Daughter

Rafael Del Cole decided to pay tribute and honor his late wife, Tatiane Valques, in an amazing way. He and his three-year-old daughter, Raisa, recreated the couple’s photos together that Rafael and Tatiane took back in 2009 before the couple got married. In 2013, Tatiane Valques passed away from a car accident while pregnant with the couple’s second child.

During the shoot, Raia wore her mothers clothing, and jewelry. Raisa even did similar poses as her mother with her dad. The inspiration for the beautiful photo shoot came from Ben Nunery, who did a photo shoot to honor his wife who died from cancer.

After losing Tatiane, Rafael started a blog to help others cope with the loss of a loved one. He stated that he was seeking help on how to deal with being an early widow and having to raise children without the presence of their mother.

“Shortly after I lost my wife, I was seeking help regarding early widowhood and also paternity without the presence of the mother and found almost nothing. Now, thank God, things are adjusting slowly, my daughter is well, and is growing, developing normally. But beside my responsibilities with my princess, I need to deal with feelings of grief, and the loss of my partner with whom I lived for 10 wonderful years.”
