He grew up in Kingston upon Thames, in England, and attended the Roman Catholic Preparatory School at Wimbledon before eventually switching over to the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in Croydon.
While at Wimbledon, he began taking up dancing at the Nifty Feet Dance School, where he learned some hip-hop moves.
