Police Break Into Car To Rescue Baby That Turns Out To Be A Doll

In the West Midlands, UK, the police were called to an emergency after someone saw a ‘tiny baby’ all alone in a locked car outside a hospital. The officers smashed the car windows carefully, and found a very realistic baby doll snuggled inside a blanket.

Even two nurses who were at the scene on September 14 thought that the doll was a trapped infant whose guardians had neglectfully left it in the car. The actual guardian of the doll is 10-year-old Janaih Rattray. When she came back to her car with her family, they were alarmed to see that the back window was broken and there was a note telling them to call the police.

The Chief Inspector explained that the officers really believed that they saw a critically ill baby locked in the car, and they were right to take swift action. The police department is paying to have the car window repaired.
