Kansas City Royals Outfielder Makes Catch Of The Year

Alex Gordon has made a number of fantastic defensive plays for the Kansas City Royals over the years, but his latest one just might take the cake. Not only was it possibly the best catch he’s ever made, it’s likely going to go down as one of, if not the best defensive play of the season. In a game against the Chicago Whitesox, Gordon decided he wasn’t going to let a little thing like the wall get in the way of making sure he recorded the out. Gordon leapt into the stands and seemed to not care who or what was around him as he made the grab.

Sadly, the Kansas City Royals couldn’t win the game, even with this kind of defense behind them. Check out the amazing catch below.
