Snoop Dogg Is Launching A Website Strictly For Cannabis Lovers
Hip hop star Snoop Dogg has decided to team up with media guru Ted Chung to create a website based entirely of marijuana. The new site will be appropriately titled, ‘Merry Jane’ and will include all of the latest news regarding marijuana including original programming, viral videos and hot topics. It will also contain an original show called ‘Deflowered’ which will be an interview series that details the strength of marijuana.
The idea of the website was first introduced at the TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco earlier this week. It hopes to become the number one media platform for the mergence of pop culture and people’s love for cannabis. Snoop Dogg stated that the new ‘Merry Jane’ site will help fill the void that’s currently missing in the entertainment industry.
“We’re providing the industry with something that’s void right now. We are the information hotline for cannabis. We are what’s missing. After watching where the cannabis industry is headed, I wanted to create a platform that will take this movement further by creating a destination where people could find fresh content, Merry Jane is a game-changing platform for pop culture. It’s a new frontier y’all!”
‘Merry Jane’ is currently allowing 420 users to beta test the site before its official launch in October. The site will be supported by advertisers with hopes to connect legal cannabis shops to customers for their everyday marijuana resources.
