Police Receieve Phone Calls Asking To Fix Facebook After It Crashes

Facebook, the popular social media website, has gone down a grand total of three times in the past month, and the company has apologized profusely for these crashes. However, the social media company should really be sending their apology to local police departments, as they have been dealing with numerous phone calls over the website being down.

Whenever Facebook crashes, everyone seems to go up in arms over the occurrence. Disapproving tweets hit the internet almost immediately, but police in Kingston were the ones who suffered the most. They responded to multiple phone calls asking for their help in returning the website to working condition.

The police simply told the annoyed callers to spend the down-time with their family instead, as Houston police were “as upset as you are but we cannot fix Facebook.”

Neither Kingston nor Houston police were able to fix the problem, obviously. It’s unclear exactly how many phone calls the two departments received, but we imagine it was quite a few.
