Minnesota Family Of Five Found Murdered In Their Home

Authorities in South Lake Minnetonka are reporting that a family of five, including three children were found dead in their home on Thursday afternoon. Police went to check on the family after no one had seen any of them from quite a while. At 12:21 PM the police found the bodies left over from what appeared to be a murder-suicide. Interim Chief Mike Siitari wasn’t willing to give details on the scene but did say that the community was not in any danger.

Authorities haven’t said who the victims were, however the father’s business, which was the one that sent the police to the house in the first place, posted a notice online that was identifying Brian Short and his family as the victims. Brian Short is the founder of AllNurses, a resource portal for nurses. The online biography at the site showed that Short lived outside Minneapolis with his wife and three children.
