Hollywood Stars Get All Dolled Up, Literally!

Six inspirational Hollywood females were chosen by Toy manufacturer, Mattel, by creating one-of-a kind lookalike dolls in their honor. The women selected for “Barbie’s Shero project” were country singer Trisha Yearwood, Selma director Ava DuVernay, Broadway star and ‘Glee’ alum Kristin Chenoweth, Lucky magazine editor Eva Chen, ‘Shameless’ actress and animal welfare activist Emmy Rossum, and the youngest of the six, fashion designer Sydney “Mayhem” Keiser — who is only 5 years old.

According to People Magazine, the women were chosen because they are “power females who have pushed boundaries and expanded possibilities for women.”

The dolls were unveiled Friday April 24th, 2015 at Variety‘s Power of Women Luncheon in New York City. After the reveal, the women took to social media to exclaim their excitement. Rossum posted on her Instagram page along with a photo of her and her lookalike doll “#Mattel made me my very own Emmy Barbie.”

Unfortunately, Barbie collectors won’t be able to purchase these special editions. Following the Luncheon, each honoree auctioned off her one-of-a-kind doll to benefit a charity of her choice
