Fresh Prince Offers His Opinion On C-SPAN

C-SPAN’s Washington Journal was recently taking calls from viewers on the role of Congress taking part in U.S. negotiations with Iran. A call from someone named Jack Strickland from Los Angeles, California, quickly took an odd turn, however.

Mr. Strickland decided it would be best to reenact the intro from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air on live television instead of actually offering an opinion. C-SPAN quickly cut him off, though, so he never got to finish the beloved comedy series’ intro. He did make it through the good majority, however.

I’m calling from Bel Air, California, but I’m originally from Philadelphia, specifically West Philadelphia,” the caller said. He explained that he was recently in Philly discussing this issue with some of his friends while playing basketball when “a couple of guys who were up to no good essentially started causing trouble in my neighborhood.

An account using the name Jack Strickland posted the prank phone call to YouTube, thankfully. The individual has numerous prank calls to C-SPAN over the past two years as well.
