10 Of The Strangest Bacon Concoctions You’ll Ever See

Food, Funny, Lists, Other, Shocking

In a matter of decades, our successors will religiously be trying to figure out why this generation has been so obsessed with bacon. We, however, won’t be able to explain ourselves as we will be dead from eating way too much bacon. What’s interesting is that bacon along with being eaten with pancakes, eggs and in hamburgers, is also used in plenty of other food and drink combinations that are a bit far-fetched for us. Here are ten of the strangest and somewhat unappetizing food and drink concoctions that tried to incorporate bacon for one reason or another.

Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies

The crazy popularity and hype surrounding bacon has led people to try to put it on every single thing possible. Case in point are the bacon chocolate chip cookies that are a completely real thing you can actually buy in American supermarkets.

Bacon Sundae

Why would anyone ever go and mix bacon and dessert? Popular restaurant Denny’s decided to make drunk college students feel even worse when they stumble into their chain at four in the morning by serving them meat with ice cream.

Bacon Vodka

Vodka is always a bad idea, but bacon vodka is probably the worst idea ever. It is described by critics as a drink with “robust, meaty aroma,” and it’s flavor as “clean and slightly sweet”.

Bacon Soda

We’re somehow convinced bacon vodka was made with recovering alcoholics in mind. Can’t have alcohol? Here, have bacon and soda in one; that will make you feel better.

Bacone

Aside from it’s bad name, bacone also must taste pretty weird too. It’s basically a blend of bacon, cheese, hash browns and scrambled eggs inside the cone of bacon covered with a biscuit to add an extra dose of disgusting.

Bacon Weave Apple Pie

If you thought there’s no such thing as bacon ice cream, you were wrong. Bacon Weave Apple Pie is an absolutely ingenious creation that consists of crust infused with bacon, apples, cinnamon and bacon bits and, best of all, bacon ice cream.

Chocolate-Covered Bacon

Our only question is – why? Why would anyone dip bacon in chocolate or melt chocolate over bacon? Why?

Fool’s Gold Bacon Loaf

Fool’s gold loaf was King Elvis’ favorite food and therefore it is completely unsurprising it has got its own bacon version. Originally, a whole loaf of bread is hollowed out, filled with a jar of peanut butter, a jar of grape jelly, but in the bacon version a whole pound of bacon is added for that extra crispy disgusting touch. It is recommended it is served with champagne.

Krispy Kreme Bacon Cheeseburger

The Krispy Kreme bacon cheeseburger is essentially slamming a whole bunch of bacon in between two donuts. We think we won’t be trying this one either.

Bacon Explosion

We’ve saved the best for last, and by best we refer to the meal that will single-handedly deliver you enough calories to last you a decade. Bacon wrapped in sausage and then again wrapped in bacon only to be covered with BBQ sauce. And yes, you can even buy it online.
