10 Of The Deadliest Animals On The Planet

Animals, Lists, Other, Shocking

The animal kingdom is far larger than the human world tends to admit, and there are new species of deadly and dangerous animals coming to the forefront almost every single year. Dogs, insects, reptiles, sea animals, and plenty more all have various aggressive traits, poisonous glands, or toxins secreted through the skin in order to hurt predators and humans alike. These animals are a bit terrifying when handled incorrectly, though a specialist may be able to get away with it. Here are ten of the most dangerous animals on the entire planet.

Box Jellyfish

The box jellyfish is known as the single most deadly sea animal in the entire world. The extremely strange and rare animal has 24 eyes and 5,000 stinging cells in their tentacles. Their rare venom has been known to shut human bodies down with ease.

Black Mamba

The black mamba snake can grow up to 14 feet in length, and has an insane speed of 12 miles per hour. To make matters worse, each bite from one of these snakes is laced with enough venom to kill a human being, though they don’t usually attack.

Saltwater Crocodile

The saltwater crocodile is one of the largest and most dangerous reptiles in the entire world. They are known for feasting on almost everything, and have even been called an apex predator by the scientists who study them.

Polar Bears

While polar bears may appear cute and cuddly, and are on the endangered species list, they are actually rather dangerous for unsuspecting human beings. They have been known to attack when scared or feeling threatened, and can do a lot of damage with their massive size, teeth, and claws.

Brown Recluse Spider

The brown recluse spider may be one of the smaller species of spiders, but they are also the most devastating and deadly. A single bite can inject enough venom into the human body to rot off flesh and skin tissue, and are more often than not quite fatal.

Gray Wolves

Wolves are one of the most dangerous and sly breeds of four-legged mammals in the known world thanks to being powerful pack hunters. Their sharp teeth and impressive jaws have been known to cleave flesh from bone with ease.

Lions

Lions are the kings of the Savannah. They are deadly, dangerous, vicious, and quite large. Anyone who stands in their way, especially between a lion and its food, are probably risking their life. They tend to attack people at random, too.

Sharks

Sharks are known for attacking and killing human beings that find themselves floating in open water. Despite what movies tell you, the Great White isn’t the biggest human killer, that’s down to the bull shark.

Mosquitoes

Mosquitoes are probably the single most devastating insect on the planet. Due to their tiny size, most people don’t think twice about them, but they carry horrifying diseases that can strike a grown man down in a matter of days, if not hours.

Vampire Bats

Vampire bats may be the type of creature that come right from a story-book, but they are also one of the single most terrifying animals on the entire planet. They are known to feed on cattle and horses, but have been witnessed attacking human beings, too. They feast on the blood of their victims.
