This Couple Is Getting Married 38 Times In 11 Countries
Rhian Woodyard, 32, and Cheetah Platt, 30, do not want to spend their money on an elaborate wedding ceremony. So they have decided to get married 38 times in 11 countries around the world in just 83 days. Platt said that throwing a wedding in California is very expensive. The Los Angeles couple got engaged last year. They first started their journey on February 8th and their first wedding ceremony was held in Colombia. As of Saturday, the couple had gotten married 21 times. They have held ceremonies in front of aqueducts, waterfalls and in an ancient temple.
The couple wears the same outfit for each ceremony. Woodyard loves that she gets to marry Platt over and over again. Here are some pictures from their amazing journey.
The adventurous pair were ordained online through the church of Spiritual Humanists so that they could perform their own ceremonies. At present, they are in Chiang Mai, Thailand, after getting married in Kenya, Morocco, India, Spain, Egypt, and Ireland. They both are professional acrobats.
