Teacher Jailed After Being Recorded Having Sex With Student By Husband
A teaching assistant in England has been arrested after being videotaped while she was engaging in sexual activity with a student, by her husband. According to The Mirror, Sarah Candy, a 36-year-old teacher was seen “kissing and cuddling” with the teenage boy on her bed. James, Candy’s husband, had set up the hidden camera when he became suspicious about her intentions toward the young boy.
The teacher had her day in court last week, with the video being shown to the courtroom. After the video was shown, Candy was quickly convicted. She was sentenced to one year in jail but will probably serve just half that sentence behind bars. In the UK, these kinds of offenders are generally “released on license.” It’s not known exactly how long the couple had been having relations, or whether the sexual activity ended with kissing and cuddling.
While Candy was being sentenced, Judge Lynn Tayton QC said there was a “clear sexual element” to the contact between the teaching assistant and the boy.
