‘Rocky’ Spin-Off ‘Creed’ Gets A Second Trailer And It Looks Awesome

A brand new trailer for the Rocky spin-off movie, Creed, has just surfaced on the Internet and it shows Sylvester Stallone starring alongside Michael B. Jordan. Stallone is now a retired boxing champ who is attempting to train up Jordan, who plays the son of Rocky’s former foe — Apollo Creed. It turns out that Adonis Johnson never knew his father, Creed, because he died before Johnson was born.

Once Adonis decides that boxing is in his blood, he travels to Philadelphia in order to find Rocky Balboa and talk him into training him into being a big-time boxer. This is the second blockbuster movie that Jordan has starred in this year, as he also starred as Johnny Storm in the critically maligned Fantastic Four sequel. Creed also stars Tessa Thompson as Bianca, a local singer-songwriter who becomes involved with Adonis; Phylicia Rashad as Mary Anne Creed, Apollo’s widow; and English pro boxer and former three-time ABA Heavyweight Champion Anthony Bellew as boxing champ “Pretty” Ricky Conlan.
