Kim Davis Taunted By Billboard Erected By Gay Rights Group In Home Town

Kim Davis has become a symbol for the far right as they continue their fight against a Supreme Court ruling that gave same-sex couples the right to marry in any state in the US. A gay rights group has put up another symbol that they are hoping will show just how much of a hypocrite she is for embracing “biblical values” over state and federal law. The Kentucky County Clerk went to jail earlier this month after refusing to issue marriage licenses for same-sex marriages.

Now, a billboard has been erected in her hometown that attempts to show just how silly it would be if Davis held on to other values that were espoused in the bible, including the ability to sell your children in exchange for livestock. The group, PlantingPeace.org says that they’ve actually gotten a rather positive response from the billboard. “We have been told members of the local community have been taking photos and selfies in front of the billboard,” Aaron Jackson, president of Planting Peace said. Jackson added; “We are excited that they’ve embraced our message.”
