Hot Sauce Induced Seizure Saves A Man’s Life

Randy Schmitz, a 30-year-old Chicago resident is not the adventurous kind. However, when he went on a trip with his fiancé and family, visiting the spicy condiments chain Pepper Palace, he decided he had enough courage to do something crazy – try out one of the hottest hot sauces in the world. After signing the waiver needed to try out the hot sauce called Flashbang, Schmitz immediately felt nauseous. What he didn’t expect was that his slightly courageous act would change his life forever.

After trying out the hot sauce, Schmitz did not feel as bad as he thought he would. However, as the moments passed, he begun to feel worse. Stepping out of the store and sitting on a bench, he started shaking and blacked out shorty after. Shocked at his hot sauce induced seizure, his family quickly called for an ambulance. “The next thing I knew I had woken up on a stretcher in a hospital room, covered in vomit” Schmitz stated in a recent letter to Pepper Palace.

However, this trip to the hospital, following his hot sauce induced seizure, proved to be life saving. An MRI scan of Schmitz’s brain revealed that the man had a cancerous tumor in its early stages, which was promptly removed when he got back home, with the doctors stating his treatment was complete.

“The doctors did not know how long the cancerous tumor had been there and they said if it did not get activated, it would have just kept growing and expanding. I had surgery, got the tumor removed, went on radiation and chemotherapy and I am now cancer free!! Your Flashbang Pepper Sauce SAVED MY LIFE!!!!”
