Kayne West, also known as the ‘I am God’ rapper, was invited to speak at Oxford. Strangely, before he was going to speak, Kanye made strange demands, of which many were shocked and confused by. The strangest on his list of demands included Asparagus and Hummus!
While 350 students awaited his arrival with baited breath, Kanye made even more demands for mineral water, tea bags, and a full length mirror. These items were just a few on a lengthy list. Guild Chairman Abbas Kazmi stated to Mirror,
“He wanted Volvic water bottles with the labels removed, a small veggie platter, hummus, and hot water. He also wanted a small variety of tea bags, double espresso available to be made if requested, and raw asparagus. Kanye asked for a full sized mirror too. We couldn’t buy one at short notice, Argos said we had to order it in.”
Such demands should not seem so strange from Kanye, as he is known for his strange attitude and bizarre ways. It also should not be so strange that he requested a full length mirror, since Kanye West is known for his fashion. In the end, Kanye was happy with his demands being met and spoke in front of the students, making it a successful talk.
