Emily Blunt And Anne Hathaway Slay Lip Sync Battle

Although Anne Hathaway won the overall Lip Sync Battle against Emily Blunt with her outstanding performance of Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus, Emily Blunt definitely won the first round with her amazing performance of the Blackstreet’s No Diggity.

In the first round, Hathaway went first opting for Mary J. Blige’s “Love” which got audience clapping along. Blunt fought back with a more upbeat performance and a sassy attitude incorporated in a lively rendition of No Diggity. The audience was thrilled and she even got them to put their hands in the air and sway in the rythm of the 90’s classic. Blunt overall did a very relaxed performance, slaying the rap part of the song. In the middle of her performance, she even went up to her good friend Hathaway, who was enjoying the view sitting on the sideline with the host LL Cool J, and gave her a full-on lap dance.

In the second battle, Hathaway won over everyone’s hearts with her spot-on rendition of Wrecking Ball. Blunt’s version of Janis Joplin’s “Piece of My Heart” stood no chance. Both rounds received a lot of praise from the general public and have been wildly shared on social media. Overall, it is a matter of personal taste. If you’re more into easygoing, karaoke-type of performance, Emily Blunt’s your girl. If you are more into theatrics, you’ll side with Hathaway.
