Star Adopts New Look To Play Famous Comic Book Character

It seems that many movie stars are prone to adapting extreme hairstyles to fully embody the characters they are portraying. Recently, Oscar-nominee Jesse Eisenberg shaved his head completely bald to play super villain Lex Luthor in the upcoming DC Comics film Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice film. Now another actor is taking on the chrome dome look as well to play another famously powerful man in the Marvel mythology.

James McAvoy has already made two appearances as the mind-reading and mind-controlling mutant Professor Charles Xavier, first in X-Men: First Class and again in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Although the character, previously played by famous baldy Patrick Stewart, is always portrayed as bald in the source material, it isn’t until now as he is preparing for the newest film X-Men: Apocalypse that McAvoy has adopted the look as well. Fellow former castmates such as Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and Nicholas Hoult will all be reprising their roles as well as welcoming newcomers such as Kodi Smit-McPhee, Channing Tatum, Olivia Munn, and Oscar Isaac. The film is set to be released on May 26th of next year.
