7 Month Old Baby Dies After Being Bitten by Family Dog

A seven month old baby has died in Southern Germany after being bitten on the head by the family dog. While police are currently unsure of why the dog bit the baby, the dog has been taken to a nearby animal shelter.

It is unknown what the dog’s breed is, however a spokeswoman with the police described it as a Staffordshire mix, while shelter staff are referring it as a boxer mix, acting “very aggressively.”

The baby was bitten on Monday April 11th, and was taken to a nearby hospital, where its condition stabilized, before dying on Monday night.
