20 Unfortunate Photo Fails That Will Make You Look Twice
Have you ever have your picture taken and demanded to see how it came out before it’s posted on Instagram or Facebook? The rise of digital photography has meant we get a second or third take if we don’t like the way a particular picture has turned out. Unfortunately, we don’t always catch everything.
Take, for example, the subjects of these twenty hilariously unfortunate photos. Many of them may have been so busy checking out their face that they didn’t notice the awkward hand placement, or the nude tourist sunbathing in the back of the shot. In any case, let them serve as a warning to you: always check your pics for unfortunate weirdness.
We’ll start you off easy with this San Antonio Spurs fan and his buddy, who seems way too into him. No, we’re not talking about the guy with the Lakers shirt.
Before you call CPS, we’re pretty sure that’s just a water spout on the side of the building.
Football (soccer) is an intense sport, but it’s also a gentlemanly pursuit. Case in point: a rival player drops everything to perform an emergency prostate exam on the field. At least, that’s what this picture makes it look like.
Ice To See You
Let this be a lesson in timing out photos correctly. This ice-skating routine was probably beautiful and majestic. But because somebody snapped the pic at the just the wrong time, we end up with her head coming out of his rear-end.
This guy is getting more than he bargained for from this food stand. He doesn’t seem to mind it all that much, either.
Admit it, you had to look twice to make sure that shadow on her leg wasn’t a massive, flaccid penis.
We’re not actually sure what that body part underneath grandpa really is. It looks like it could be somebody’s knee. Just rest assured, it’s not grandpa’s huge balls. At least, we hope it isn’t.
Watch Your Step
This is one of the many reasons flesh-colored car interiors are a bad idea. She’s not actually spreading her legs here, but that’s totally what everyone sees at first glance.
Always Look Behind You
Looks like a perfectly normal family photo, right? Here’s a little tip: if you’re going to wander around the beach snapping photos, make sure you don’t stray too far and wind up in the nudist section. We’ve added a blur to spare your eyes.
There’s nothing wrong with the woman in this photo, but her shadow is up to something a little less innocent. Sometimes poor lighting can turn a perfectly wholesome picture into something X-rated.
Now we come to another “unfortunate images” phenomenon: unfortunate DVR pauses. With twenty-four or more images per second flickering across the screen, you can find risque moments like this one just about anywhere you look.
Just a reminder: this is not what people mean when they tell you to “go screw yourself!” Nobody wants to see that.
What’s Up, Girl?
That guy in the window advertisement seems acutely interested in something, but what?
No, that girl in the photo doesn’t have a special “surprise”. In fact, she’s not even pantsless. That’s just what a poorly placed arm and thumb will do to you.
Presidential Pants Adjustment
Even former heads of state aren’t immune to poorly-timed photos. George was probably just having his suit adjusted, but that doesn’t explain why the guy behind him is standing so close.
Golfing is Fun
Speaking of standing too close, here’s another tip for avoiding unfortunate photos: don’t stand directly in front of someone. From the camera’s perspective, you might appear right on top of each other. Another tip: avoid making faces like these.
Let Me Get That for You
Most of the pictures so far have involved some kind of optical illusion. This one, unfortunately, is 100% real. Sure, it was only an accident, but having someone else’s finger up your nose is never a pleasant sensation.
We have to admit, we’re impressed. This guy had two kids, but looking at his body—you’d never be able to tell!
Come on, guys. If you had legs that nice, you know you’d be showing them off at the beach every chance you got.
Hold On To Your Lunch
This is a truly unfortunate moment that happened to occur at the exact instance the roller-coaster’s camera snapped a souvenir photo. We can’t help but wonder how many of them actually bought this picture. It’s the kind of moment you don’t necessarily want to relive, but you owe to yourself not to forget.
