Woman Has Large Centipede Removed From Inner Ear

In what seems to be a more frequent phenomenon, a woman recently had a large creature removed from the inside of her ear. The creature in question? A centipede, which is said to have crawled inside the woman’s ear and curled up after the woman fell asleep. The bug made itself comfortable within her canal while she was sound asleep. Unfortunately, the arthropod decided it was too comfortable to even move, so it refused to. Doctor’s in China were forced to perform emergency surgery on the woman to remove the little beast.

The small creature was captured moving around within her ear, and even emerged for a moment before sinking back within. The doctors attempted to use a pair of tweezers to extract the bug, but were unable to do so. The medical staff ultimately had to use a saline solution to kill the bug before safely removing it.

The woman, thankfully, only suffered minor injuries to her ear canal.
