Waitress Slams Man Into Wall After He Groped Her

21-year-old Emelia Holden was working at her waitressing job at Vinnie Van Go-Go in Savannah, Georgia, when a man walked past and grabbed her butt. CCTV footage has been released of the incident, and Holden has made women around the world proud with how she handled being groped.

The incident occurred just before midnight on June 30th – Holden just finished taking menus away from a couple and was putting them back on her cart, when 31-year-old Ryan Cherwinski walks past Holden and grabs her butt. Holden promptly turns around, grabs the back of Cherwinski’s shirt and wraps her arm around his neck. Holden then throws the man to the ground, and scolds him for touching her.

Holden said;

“I looked at him and I said, ‘You don’t touch me, motherf–ker!’ I didn’t even think, I just reacted. I don’t know how I reacted the way I did. I’ve never done that before.”

“When I felt that happen, my first thought was that it was one of my friends … it was a really intimate touch. His hand went further than it should have so I was thinking, ‘There’s no way a stranger just did that.’”

After throwing Cherwinski to the ground, Holden told one of her coworkers to call the police, who arrested Cherwinski and charged him sexual battery.

“The guy claimed that he was just trying to push me out of the way and, ‘Oh, I barely touched you.’ Once the police saw the video, they immediately arrested him. There was no doubt that he did it.”

“It actually made me really happy. I knew something like that would happen eventually. I’m just happy that it was handled.”

Cherwinski spent two days in jail, and according to reports he was at the restaurant with his wife and two children.
