The Feud Between Floyd Mayweather And Ronda Rousey Continues
2015 has arguably been the year of Ronda Rousey. From her highly publicized paper-view fights to Rousey’s numerous commercial endorsements, she’s everywhere. And for good reason: she’s a humble All Star in the MMA community. But that’s not to say Rousey hasn’t adopted her fair share of bad blood along the way — especially with Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
“Big Bank take Little Bank. Let’s play and see how much money you got,” Mayweather said in a statement to TMZ about his earning compared to Rousey’s. “Last time I checked I was was #1 on Forbes. She will never be at my status. Keep trying to get publicity.“
Rousey not one to backdown from a fight, verbal or otherwise, took a low-blow and responded with, “When he learns to read and write, he can text me,” in an interview with TMZ Sports.
While Mayweather’s career may soon be coming to a close, as he has publicly stated that his next fight with Andre Berto will be his last, Rousey has no intentions to retire any time soon; her next paper-view fight is schedule to take place in early 2016.
