Teen Arrested For Posting Eminem Lyrics

One teen has recently been arrested after he posted word-for-word lyrics from rap star Eminem on his personal Instagram. The police have arrested the 15-year-old boy from Fresno, California, after he posted the message on his account, which apparently frightened the two principals of San Joaquin and St. Anthony’s Catholic School. They cancelled class earlier this week for this disruption.

The song lyrics, which came from Eminem’s 2000 song ‘I’m Back’, references the 1999 Columbine High School massacre, which left 15 dead and many more injured. In the post, the teen altered the lyrics in the last line slightly in an attempt to portray himself to the iconic rapper. They read:

“I take seven kids from Columbine, stand ’em all in a line,

Add an AK-47, a revolver, a nine,

A MAC-11 and it oughtta solve the problem of mine

And that’s a whole school of bullies shot up all at one time.

Cause I’m just like shady and just as crazy as the world was over this whole Y2K thing”

Chief Jerry Dyer said they “have every reason to believe that there was potential for a threat to be carried out.” Following an inspection of the 15-year-old’s home, numerous weapons, ammunition for said weapons, and even body armor were discovered.
