Senior Politician Claims UK Military Covered Up UFO Sightings

Lord Black of Brentwood, a conservative peer in the House of Lords, has claimed the Ministry of Defence covered up a series of UFO sightings that occurred during the 1970’s. He claims chiefs within the government department denied that there were any unusual activity in the area, despite reports from military personnel and public witnesses, and he now wants a full investigation into the Broad Haven Triangle sightings.

A number of recently released Ministry of Defence files leave little doubt that a small number of sightings of aerial phenomena – particularly by military personnel, pilots and air traffic controllers – remain unexplained and unidentified,” said Lord Black. “There needs to be further examination of these issues in the hope of learning something new.”

The request for more information follows the release of a number of previously classified documents that show children’s drawings of the supposed UFOs and letters revealing that the Ministry of Defence asked the Royal Air Force to carry out inquiries. The senior politician now wants the department to tell the public everything it knows about the events and to stop covering up the UFO sightings.
