Oscar-Nominated Film Gets A Hilarious Make Over

Writer/director Christopher Nolan is not the kind of filmmaker that one usually associates with humor, the auteur is famous for his pursuit of realism and, by extension, emotional gravity. One might think that this means there is little if any humor to be found in his films, but those who do think that would be wrong.

YouTube channel Screen Junkies recently released another of their hallmark “Honest Trailer” videos, this time exposing Nolan’s most recent cinematic venture Interstellar as being secretly hilarious. In true form, the video doesn’t hold back on the scathing sarcasm or witty cynicism, ironically making a great many valid points about the movie while still being painfully funny.

Interstellar became available on DVD and Blu-Ray on March 31st.
