New ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ Trailer Will Blow Your Mind

Just a month before the official release of Pitch Perfect 2, the second trailer was released this Friday. In the trailer for Pitch Perfect 2, the Bellas are once again underdogs. This year however, they’re playing with the big dogs. The movie features Becca (Anna Kendrick), Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) and the rest of the Bellas crew competing in the acapella world championship.

The Barden Bellas, in an exciting new twist, go to bootcamp to prepare for the facing off against their rivals, a wining German team with a snarky attitude. “No American team has ever won it“. states Gail (Elizabeth Banks) about the international championship. Bellas are, however, in it to win it, and even in the short clip deliver stunning performances of one of the biggest K-Pop hits ever, “Fantastic Baby” by BIGBANG and Carrie Underwood’s, “Before He Cheats”. The snippet also features a few seconds of Rebel Wilson rapping to A Tribe Called Quest’s “Scenario”.

The movie is as exciting as the first one, delivering both the drama and majestic vocal performances from the star-studded cast. Brittany Snow, who plays the leading vocalist of Barden Bellas named Chloe, noted how it could get even crazier than in the first film: “I keep telling people that it’s going to be a little crazier,” she remarked. “We’re not only taking on other people but we’re taking on the world. The stakes are a little bit higher. It’s probably as crazy as it gets.“
