Nazi Gold Train Spotted Using Ground Penetrating Radar

According to a Polish official, the long missed Nazi gold train may have been located thanks to the efforts of high-powered ground-penetrating radar. The train, which two men have claimed to have located recently, went missing in the final days of World War 2 in Southwest Poland. During this time, the Nazi army was retreating from the Red Army, who were advancing at a terrifying pace.

The train is said to be bogged down by gold and gems, and is buried underground somewhere. The Polish government recently warned everyone who fancies themselves something of a treasure hunter not to go after the missing gold, as it could be booby-trapped by the long-lost soldiers.

Deputy Culture Minister Piotr Zuchowski described this as an ‘exceptional’ discovery. He warned: “In connection with the published information referring to the find of the so-called ‘gold train’ in the region of Walbrzych, an increase in the activity of treasure hunters has been observed.

I am appealing to people to stop any such searches until the end of official procedures leading to the securing of the find. Inside the hidden train — of whose existence I am convinced — there could be dangerous materials from the time of World War II. There is a great chance that the train is mined.”

It would be interesting to see footage of an unearthed train full of gold being brought to the surface.
