Man Pretends To Be Doctor For 15 Years And Injects Women’s Bottoms

Police have arrested and charged a man they believe has been operating as an unlicensed doctor for a staggering 15 years. According to officials, Gabriel Estrada acted as if he had medical qualifications and performed procedures on patients as well as handing out drugs from his office in Corona, Queens.

The 59-year-old bogus doctor had regularly seen up to 30 patients every week and had equipment such as a stethoscope to appear genuine. He would carry out examinations, write prescriptions and even try to inject a liquid into women’s buttocks without revealing exactly what he was doing. He was busted by police after an undercover officer spent two years visiting him and compiling evidence.

[Estrada’s] alleged conduct jeopardized the safety of patients by allowing an unlicensed individual to treat them – including injecting them with an unknown substance,” Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said in a statement.

Esrtrada claims that he was a fully trained doctor when living in Colombia but failed to get his medical license in the United States despite attempting to twice in 1999 and 2000. Despite not getting a license, he continued to see patients and he now faces a possible jail term of 9 years if he is found guilty.
