Man Arrested For Drink Driving And Responds Hilariously

Earle Stevens Jr, 69, was pulled over by Indiana River County sheriffs when the police received a call that a man kept running into a woman’s bumper whilst at a McDonald’s drive-thru.

The incidents occurred on June 27th, and upon being pulled over Stevens told officers he did not have a valid driver’s license. Deputies noticed a bottle of alcohol on the passenger seat, and said that the car reeked of liquor. Stevens told deputies that he wasn’t drinking whilst driving, instead he was taking sips of his Jim Beam when he was stopped at traffic lights and stop signs.

He further explained that he was not drinking while the car was moving and only when he stopped for stop signs and traffic signals,” the affidavit reads.

Stevens was taken into custody, and a breath test revealed that his blood alcohol content was 0.153 and 0.147, almost double the legal limit of 0.08.
