Impatient Driver Breaks Instructor’s Elbow In Road Rage Incident
Nearly everyone had to learn how to drive at some point in their lives, so we all know what it’s like to try and get the hand of the rules of the road. However, one 17-year-old saw things taken a step too far when he experienced a bout of road rage against the man teaching him to control the vehicle.
Youngster Conner George struggled to move away from a busy junction, when a white Range Rover behind him began to beep his horn loudly for the student driver to move. The men within the Range Rover pulled alongside their vehicle and began shouting at them, despite the teacher claiming they were being video-taped.
The two men exited their car and attacked, slamming the door on Chris Barnett, 64, and breaking the teacher’s elbow. Mr Barnett, who released the dash-cam footage to the police, said:
“I’ve never had an incident this bad before. This guy was being really aggressive but his attitude changed a bit as soon as I let him know he was on camera. He threatened to break my fingers off. Then an older guy got out of the car and was waving his fist at me through the window.
I opened the door just to make it obvious I was not prepared to put up with it. I told them I was going to call the police and one of the guys slammed the door on my arm.”
Essex Police claim a 39-year-old man was interviewed, but no one has been charged. They department is no longer investigating the matter, unfortunately.
