Drunk Knight Saves The Day For Drunk Motorist In Massachusetts
A Massachusetts man dubbed himself The Drunk Knight after helping a drunk man that was passed out behind the wheel of a running car. The man, posting on Reddit as Krazy_Legs, stated that he was on his way home and he noticed the man passed out behind the wheel of a running car.
The man, who happens to live above the bar where the car was located, decided to shut off the ignition and left a note and bottle of water for the drunk guy. The note said: “I found you passed out drunk with your car running, so I hid your keys under the Atlas in your back seat. I hope you get home safe. I’m not your hero. I’m your silent guardian. A watchful protector. The Drunk Knight.”
It is kind of a crazy story, especially since the bar closed at midnight, but The Drunk Knight found the man passed out in the car at 3 a.m. He said, “The bars close at midnight where I am, so I tried to wake him up, but he just kept mumbling and continued to sleep. I decided to hide his keys in the backseat, just in case a cop came, and left him a note and some water. I realized once I was sober that a cop would probably just read the note and arrest him anyway, but at least I tried.”
The Drunk Knight definitely did try and he definitely stopped the man from randomly waking up and start driving. We are dying to know who this drunk guy is and if he’ll come forward, but we think he’ll just take the nice gesture and be glad he is not in jail right now for drunk driving.
