Disney CEO Announces A Name Change For Theme Park

It was just announced at an annual shareholder meeting that Disney is planning on renaming their Hollywood Studios theme park. Believe it or not, but a 6-year-old kid asked the CEO of Disney if they were planning on changing the name, and the CEO responded.

It’s not announced. We used to be MGM Studios, we changed to Hollywood Studios and we’re doing some significant work there right now that I guess will result in a name change. Now we can announce that. It’s not been announced, right? No. We’ll announce that we’re changing the name but we won’t announce what we’re changing it to. How’s that?”

The currently titled Hollywood Studios is going through other changes besides a new name. Multiple rides are receiving updates, and some are been closed down for newer attractions. The current plans are to incorporate more Star Wars attractions to the popular theme park and add more Pixar themed areas.
