Communist Leader Names Children After Spaceships And Celestial Bodies To Beat Caste System

Late Communist leader Krosuri Veera Raghava Chary of Dachepalli decided to take things a little bit too far when he made the conscious decision to fight the caste system within India. The elderly man decided to name his children after a variety of spaceships and celestial bodies.

His eldest son, 43-year-old Spaceship, spoke to Times of India about his father and his siblings. The father ended up naming his children Spaceship, Viking-II, Fusion, Space Shuttle, and Shuttle Challenger. Viking-II is Chary’s only daughter. Spaceship said: “As a Communist leader, my father wanted that our names should not disclose our caste either in the school or in the society.”

Spaceship now works as a catering attendant for the local railway canteen. He has broken through the caste system and does something meaningful and that he enjoys; instead of using his family name to get everything.
