Brother Accidentally Hits Sibling During Bar Fight And Sends Him To The Hospital
Two incredibly drunk Australian brothers wanted to get in fights at a Darwin pub, but instead one hit the other with a chair and were both arrested. Police reports show that the two men were drinking along the nightclub strip in Darwin and when they ended up at a local pub and started to pick fights. Eventually, they focused on two other men to fight and even decided to bring in weapons to the situation. However, the attack didn’t go quite as planned.
Police Superintendent Louise Jorgensen explained the how the events unfolded; “One of the brothers picked up a chair to assault these males but instead he struck his brother over the head. The brother fell on the ground. He had a very nasty head laceration and some broken teeth. He was taken to hospital, and his brother was taken to the cells and both of received an infringement notice for fighting.” The injured brother is reportedly recovering well. Perhaps these two will think twice about getting into fights while getting drunk.
