Bill Hudson Disowns Oliver And Kate Hudson
The Hudson family has had an interesting history that many don’t fully understand. Long story short, Bill Hudson married Goldie Hawn, and they had two beautiful children together – Kate and Oliver Hudson. Bill abandoned his family and has claimed many times that his ex-wife Hawn has “poisoned” the two children into hating him.
Kate Hudson spoke with Vanity Fair back in 2000, and said this: “[Bill Hudson] doesn’t know me from a hole in the wall. But I don’t care. I have a dad [Russell]. The bottom line is, you call your kids on their f–king birthday. I’m glad I had a dad who was there on my birthday.“
In more recent news, this past Father’s Day (June 21st), both Oliver and Kate Hudson posted photos on Instagram on Father’s Day. Oliver posted a photo of himself and Kate with their biological father Bill Hudson, with the caption “Happy abandonment day @katehudson“.
Kate posted a lovely photo of herself with her mother’s long-time partner Kurt Russell, and said “Pa, just simply….. Thank you. Happy Fathers Day I love you to the moon and back.”
Apparently, Bill Hudson wasn’t too happy with these two photos and went as far as to call Kate’s picture “inappropriate and unsettling.” In response to Oliver’s photo, Bill stated that Oliver is now “dead to him, as is Kate” and that he would like for them to “stop using the Hudson name.“
