Ashlee Simpson Adds To The List Of Strange Baby Names
You’ve seen list upon list of famous people naming their children after foods, fads, and even just spelling popular names incorrectly. However, now babies are being given rock star surnames as first names. One example is the recent newborn of Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross. Diana Ross’ son and the Simpson sister have named their baby girl Jagger Snow Ross. You know, like Mick Jagger.
They announced her name, and birth, on Instagram on July 30. Instagram, because that’s how people announce the birth of their children these days. While reporters are coining this a “rock star” name, others are just shaking their heads over the audacity of stars to name their baby girls James and Jagger, and their baby boys things like Pilot Inspektor.
It’s your right to name your child whatever unique or creative name you want to, but please think about the ridicule they will go through when they enter into school, and then their cruel teenage years. Hopefully she doesn’t move like, or look like, Jagger as she grows up! That may be a frightening sight.
