Amy Schumer Has 1D Fans In An Uproar Over Zayn Malik Joke At MTV Movie Awards
It has been a few weeks since Zayn Malik abruptly announced he was leaving One Direction, which had girls around the world losing their minds. Three weeks is not enough time to heal, apparently, as Amy Schumer hosted the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night and made a Zayn Malik joke and it did not sit well with the 1D fans!
In her opening monologue, Schumer said: “Hillary Clinton finally announced she’s taking Zayn’s spot in One Direction. The first woman in One Direction. I never thought I’d live to see the day!”
If you watched her opening monologue, that was one of the least offensive jokes she said that night! However, the One Direction fans were not happy and thought it was too soon. Fans went to Twitter and were saying she “crossed the line with the Zayn joke” and they questioned who hired her and called her trash.
We are sure that 1D fans will eventually get over Zayn leaving the group, but apparently three weeks is not long enough for them.
