Almost 200 Children and Adults Poisoned in Russian Chemical Leak

More than 20 children have been hospitalized in Volokolamsk after the nearby Yadrovo dump leaks hydrogen sulphide.

The town of Volokolamsk is home to 23,000, and hundreds of the residents are suffering from nausea and dizziness after it’s believed that the nearby Yadrovo dump has leaked hydrogen sulphide. “The teachers noticed the children began to feel unwell and immediately called the hospital” a source told local news outlet TASS.

On March 8th riot police were called to Volokolamsk after protesters complained that Yadrovo was polluting their town with noxious gasses, with demonstrators preventing garbage trucks from entering the town.
