Woman Gets Rude Note For Handicap Parking With Disabled Daughter

Before being upset at someone and leaving them a passive-aggressive note, perhaps take the time to get the full story. An anonymous person didn’t follow that advice and gave a Colorado woman a very disturbing note to her and her handicap daughter. Naomi Barringer and her 10-year-old daughter, Kaitlyn, used a handicap parking spot at a local Target and found the following on her vehicle:

It’s clear that whoever left the note noticed them parking in a handicapped spot multiple times and wanted to give them a message for what the anonymous person thought they were doing wrong. However, the daughter is diagnosed with hypophosphatasia, meaning that she has very weak bones and was born with multiple bone fractures.

The responses from the mother and daughter were not surprising. Naomi was shocked to find it on her windshield and Kaitlyn told 9News that she hopes no one else has to deal with such a horrible letter: “This made me very sad so I feel like I’d try to comfort them and tell them that they aren’t stupid, they aren’t lazy and they have this for a reason. They have the sign because they need it.”
