University Professor Found Guilty Of Sexual Assault Against Disabled Man

A female university professor is currently facing up to 40 years in prison after being found guilty of raping a severely disabled individual with cerebral palsy. The woman, Dr. Anna Stubblefield, claimed the two of them had a consensual relationship, but a jury found her guilty of two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault against the 34-year-old handicapped man who goes by ‘DJ’.

The 45-year-old doctor, who teaches the Philosophy course at Rutgers University, assaulted the victim in her office in 2011. The victim, who is unable to speak for himself, requires help when walking and eating, has to wear incontinence pads, and has trouble learning anything new.

Dr. Stubblefield’s lawyer claims the married professor worked hard to communicate with the disabled man with “facilitated communication,” which means steadying the hand of someone who has horrible tremors and allows them to type out what they want to say on a keyboard.

Through this method, Stubblefield is claiming the younger man consented to having sex with her.
