Typhoon Lifts Boeing 747 Off The Ground

A recent typhoon swept through Taiwan and showed the true and awesome power of nature, as it lifted a rather large aircraft right off the ground. The plane was parked and not looking to go anywhere when the storm ripped through the airport. If you have ever wondered why people are so careful to make sure they are indoors and out of the elements when something like a typhoon hits, then you need to watch this video and keep in mind just how heavy that plane actually is (440 tonnes).

This isn’t a situation where the plane was rolling and built up momentum. This particular typhoon was able to grab a plan that was standing perfectly still and actually life it a little off the ground. Check out the video and tell us you weren’t a bit amazed.
