Teacher Creates Kanye West Themed Classroom

Most fourth-grade classrooms are decked out in inspirational posters and signs that read “Be The Best You Can Be!” However, a teacher at McCabe Elementary School in California, Adrian Perez, decided to go a different route when decorating his classroom. He chose to theme his entire fourth grade classroom around Kanye West.

The entire room is decked out in red, along with artwork from the “My Dark Twisted Fantasy” album. Everything in the room is customized, and looks awesome. The bear mascot that is from “Late Registration” and “College Dropout” is all over the room as well, and the table markers are designed after the “Yeezus” album.

Perez was interviewed about the decoration of the classroom, and said: ” I’m the biggest Kanye West fan! I felt my idea was innovative. I am sure no other elementary school teacher out there has a Kanye West themed classroom. I am proud that I was able to create a one of a kind classroom. Kanye has inspired me, and the result is my classroom. I want to be the Kanye West of teaching.”

He even separated the subjects by using Kanye West lyrics. However, many parents didn’t like the idea of a classroom themed after the artist, and enough complaints were sent in to strip the classroom of anything Kanye-related.
