Police Found 43 Pounds Of Meth In Trailer After Couple Reported Theft


At approximately 7:15 a.m. on Friday morning, deputies from Chambers County, Texas, responded to a theft reported by husband and wife Dan and Bianca Roba.

The Robas reported that their was a theft from their 18-wheeler, and upon arriving at the at a truck stop on the I-10 deputies discovered that the rig was missing some tires. Whilst the deputies were conducting their investigation of the rig, they came across some irregularities with the trailer.

Upon further inspection, deputies found hidden compartments in the trailer, which contained 43 pounds of methamphetamine. Dan and Bianca Roba were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. The methamphetamine has a street value of almost two million dollars.
