Mother Has Her 10-Year-Old Son Arrested For Misbehaving
A Georgia mother took things into her own hands after learning her ten-year-old son was being disrespectful to his teacher at school. The teacher came by for a visit and the mother called police, had her son “arrested” and took pictures and posted them on Facebook of the entire incident!
Chiquita Hill said her son’s teacher, Sasha Smith, asked to come to her house to talk about how her son, Sean, was behaving in class. Hill said, “She came by on her personal time. [He] was not expecting her to be here.” The mother said she asked Sean why he was being disrespectful to his teacher and he said “because he wanted to and didn’t care.” This is when Hill decided to take things a step further and called the police and asked for a special intervention.
She said: “When they showed up, it hit him. They came in, they arrested him, put handcuffs on him, and they took him to the car… one cop got into the car and flashed the lights to give him a good scare.” The cops let him go shortly afterwards and he ran into his mother’s arms and said he promised to work on his behavior.
Hill posted the photos to her Facebook page and they quickly went viral and she has gotten a lot of feedback on them, to which she responded: “What I say to people that say I’m emotionally hurting my child or giving him a fear of law enforcement: he respects law and knows they’re there to help people but he also knows they’re also there to show him the consequences of his action. If I didn’t feel comfortable, I would have called them off at any time. I wanted to get him while he’s still young and impressionable. Stop it now before it could get worse.”
